Keene Finishes Top 10 at NJCAA Nationals; Earns All-American Honors

The Flying Eagles Cross Country team wrapped up its 2024 season competing at the NJCAA Division III Nationals held in Richmond Va.

Sophomore Lauren Keene was the top finisher for the Flying Eagles, finishing 9th overall. This earned her All-American status for the second consecutive year. This wraps up a highly successful career as Keene, a Tazewell Va native, earned All-American status after a 2nd place finish in 2023. She pairs the All-American honors with back-to-back Region X Div. III Runner of the Year Awards.

Sophomore Carrie Humphrey and Freshman Katie Large joined Keene competing in the race, and both saved their best performances for the biggest stage. Both set personal best in their last race of the season.
