Cross Country Finishes Season at NJCAA Championships in Georgia

MILLEDGEVILLE Ga. — The cross country team finished out its season on Saturday, November 13, competing in the NJCAA Championships from Milledgeville, Georgia.

There were 28 schools from across the country that competed at the NJCAA Chamionships. The men ran an 8K while the women ran a 5K. 

All but one Flying Eagle finished with a season best time!

Mitchell Campbell continued his strong performance all season long by finishing in 66th place out of 140 runners in the men's 8K with a time of 29:48.

Morgan Lane ran her best 5K time of the season with a time of 30:49. Nearly two minutes faster than her time (32:32) two weeks prior at the NJCAA Region 10 Championship.

Jacob Dowell had the biggest improvement on the team, as his time of 36:50 was more than three minutes faster than his season best, and five and a half minutes faster than his time at Regionals.
