Southwest’s men’s and women’s golf teams participated in the Atomic City Classic held in Oak Ridge. After a very slow start to the first nine holes for the men’s team, Our guys buckled down the final 27 holes for a 13th-place finish in a very strong field. In the process, we set several school records. Which includes a low individual score of Jacob Lasley (77), a low team score of 332, and a low 36-hole score of 685. On the women’s side, this was our first tournament with a full team. Day 1 had a score of 480, Day 2 had a record of 456, and Stella Gunter set an individual record of 97.
