He is starting the year off strong, scoring 21 and 18 points in the first two games of the new year. When asked about Corean's play, coach David Mullins had this to say: "What makes Corean so special is that he is a true two-way player (a dynamic scorer who can defend). Having a player that puts the same amount of effort on the defensive side of the court as the offensive side is often what separates the good from the great players at our level."
