Getting to know Cheer/Dance coach Nicki Crigger.

Nicki Crigger has been extremely involved in the Tazewell County cheer community for over 12 years. She has held coaching positions for several years ranging from little league, middle school, and now college.

"My goal is to not only install good, strong, fundamental abilities and skills concerning cheer/dance but to make sure that my athletes are respectable, honest, responsible, show/share good sportsmanship and teamwork throughout their teammates and classmates." Her athletes' grades and attendance as well as actions outside of practice or games are just as important to her. "I am very happy to have the opportunity to allow students to further their athletic career as well as encourage them in their academics. I hope to enhance their good characteristics and abilities, as well as present them with the same attitude I am expecting from them. My passion for this sport is deep and I'm very excited and eager to help our athletes start their new chapter as a member of the Southwest cheer/dance team."
