This season has definitely been a learning experience for both our coaches and players. With 11 freshmen, we have faced quite a bit of adversity as we have battled overcoming court maturity, developing leadership roles, and freshman jitters. This team is absolutely loaded with talent, but they sometimes struggle to settle into the game. Overall, we are pretty happy with the quick turnaround of our program within a single season we went from 3 recruited players in 2022, to having 12 signed and talented athletes in 2023. We are building - quickly at that. We have big expectations for our program in the future and have all the resources to make it happen. To have built such a close-knit team within a short period of time is amazing. Our girls get better on the court each day, they love one another and have each other's backs. They work hard in the classroom so we're happy to see our team culture paying off. SWCC volleyball will continue to build and overcome. Our Future Is Bright!
