Gannon started working for Southwest Virginia Community College's Athletic Department on August 1st, 2022. Before this, he worked in sports videography in high school as the head of the sports section of Richlands "Blue News," being the main videographer, editor, and interviewer for Richlands high school basketball, volleyball, softball, and football. He is a lifelong sports fan, rooting for the OKC Thunder and Las Vegas Raiders. He is a lifelong resident of Richlands and a currently enrolled student at SWCC on track to graduate this summer. He plans to attend a 4 year college to gain more knowledge and a degree that will help him work in sports media as a career.
