Southwest Virginia Community College is proud to announce that Amy Smith has agreed to become the head coach of the SWCC softball program. Coach Smith joins the Flying Eagles after ten years experience at the high school level with Honaker High School. Her accomplishments include a VHSL D1 State Championship and the honor of being the VHSL State Coach of the Year, as well as, the Bristol Herald Courier Coach of the Year.
"I am honored to be selected as the Head Softball Coach at Southwest Virginia Community College," Smith said. "Being a part of the NJCAA is a great opportunity for talented athletes in our area, who want to attend SWCC, to be able to continue their softball career. I can't wait to get started and I am excited to build a successful program."
