Student-athletes representing the Southwest Virginia Community College softball program participated in the Honaker Little League’s Challenger Division on Friday, April 26^th. The Challenger program provides a platform to play baseball for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. Accommodations are provided for those aged 4–18. Volunteers frequently make a difference with their coaching, time, and cheering on participants.

As a community college, we value the impact we can make in our small community. These ladies truly embodied what it means to be a “Flying Eagle!”!
