Southwest Men's Basketball Look To Finish Season Strong

The Flying Eagles Men's Basketball Team (8-11) look to finish off the regular season with the same excitement they had when they started the season. The Flying Eagles opened the season winning eight of their first ten games before a tough month of January welcomed them to 2023.

Southwest currently have nine games left on their regular season schedule with seven of those being on the road. Thus, the path to the end of the season won't be an easy one, but The Flying Eagles have always been a team that plays with heart, emotion, and passion.

Their next game, February 8th, at Johnson Community College (6-15) will give the Eagles a chance to play against the team that they defeated 93-79 earlier in the season. On February 9th, the Flying Eagles will continue their road trip with a game at Fayetteville Technical Community College (18-6) before finishing up their three game away from home schedule with a trip to Catawba Valley Community College (16-7) on Saturday February 11th.
