SWCC Celebrates 56 Student-Athletes Earning Academic Honors in Spring Semester

Cedar Bluff, VA- Southwest Virginia Community College is proud to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of 56 student-athletes who earned academic honors during the spring semester. This brings the total number of honored student-athletes for the 2024–25 academic year to an impressive 101.

This milestone reflects the hard work, resilience, and commitment our student-athletes demonstrate both in the classroom and in competition. Their ability to balance rigorous academic demands with athletic excellence is a true testament to their character and determination.

"At SWCC, we strive to create an environment where student-athletes can thrive—academically, athletically, and personally," said Dr. Gary Warford, Athletic Director. "These achievements would not be possible without the unwavering support of our faculty, staff, coaches, and academic support teams.
